New in LexWorkplace: Bulk Edit Permissions
In this release
- Bulk Edit Matter Permissions
- Improvements to Convert Document to PDF
- Miscellaneous Bugfixes
Bulk Edit Matter Permissions
Until now, matter permissions could only be modified one matter at a time. With this update, you can now edit the permissions of multiple matters at a time.
To do this, navigate to either:
- The Matter List
- A Specific Client (which will show all matters for that client)
Then, apply any filters you like using the standard filter boxes (for instance, perhaps you want to only see/edit matters with a specific type or tag).
Then click Actions > Bulk Matter Permissions
From here, you can set any explicit matter permissions you like (for instance, you can limit all selected matters to be accessible only to a particular group).
LexWorkplace will apply the permissions you specify to all matters that meet your current filter criteria. For instance, if you navigated to the Matter List, then filtered to show only matters with a type of “Corporate Law,” the permissions you set will apply to all matters with a type of “Corporate Law.”
Improvements to Convert Document to PDF
We also made significant improvements to the Convert (Word) Document to PDF, where the resulting PDF will more closely math the original document (most notably with tables).
Miscellaneous Bugfixes
This update to LexWorkplace also includes a number of bugfixes.
