If you’re choosing between LexWorkplace and Worldox today, LexWorkplace is the practical answer. NetDocuments, which bought Worldox in 2022, hasn’t published an end date for it, but has said its focus is moving Worldox customers onto NetDocuments at their own pace. Most firms run Worldox on their own server, so storage, encryption and redundancy below all come down to what that server and your IT provider give you.

So which should you pick?
If your firm has to keep documents on hardware you own, LexWorkplace is the wrong product, and you should be comparing on-premise systems instead. And if you’re a larger firm already committed to NetDocuments, migrate there, whatever this table says.
If your firm is small to midsize and wants out of running a server, LexWorkplace is the better move.
